FASE is registered by the National Social Services Council and the Rio de Janeiro Municipal Social Services Council (CMAS), and is recognized as both a Federal and a State Public Utility (UPF and UPE). It also has a Social Services Charitable Organization Certificate (CEAS), formerly known as the Philanthropic Organization Certificate.
It is a member of the Brazilian Organization of Non-Governmental Organizations (Abong) and of the Latin American Association of Promotion Organizations (Alop), and is on the National Roster of Environmental Entities at the National Environment Council (CNEA/Conama) and the European Commission’s Authentication Service (ECAS/PADOR).
FASE receives institutional support from international cooperation organizations and public funding from government agencies and state-owned corporations. FASE’s records and projects are subject to yearly external audits.
